Hey folks, I’m Ben – the one-man army behind Soul of Waves, riding the sound waves from Chile to Bath, UK. ? Psychologist, drummer, music producer, self-taught mixing and mastering engineer, and the voice behind some of my songs.

Dipped my toes into music at 13, banging on drums in local rock & metal bands. Fast forward to 21, Martin Garrix’s “Animals” flipped the switch, and 2019 marked the birth of Soul of Waves, my journey into Electronic Dance Music.

By day, I’m a Webmaster & Marketing Coordinator; by night, the creator steering this one-man ship. No corporate backing – just me, crafting Progressive House, Big Room, and Deep Trance vibes influenced by the golden era of 2010s EDM.

Why? ‘Cause I’m all about authenticity. I make my music, design the artwork, run marketing campaigns, and fine-tune every detail. Self-taught, no fancy degrees – just passion and a knack for turning trial and error into art.

“Soul of Waves” is a chilean project that focus in electronic music. It aims to explore House, Deep House and Tech House styles.

Benjamin Guilleminot was born in Santiago de Chile, in 1992. His first contact with music came when he was 13 years old and he tried to learn electric guitar, but failed.

Later on, he dicovered the drums and started to study and practice as a drummer. Since then, he played in many local bands of Osorno, Chile, place where he lived.

Some years later he started to study musical theory and composition.

In 2017, while joking with a friend, came up the idea of making electronic music. That year Benjamin composed the first song of this project, “Close to You”, that was worked and reworked untill its official release came up in 2021’s summer.

This is the beginning of a long path that Soul of Waves pretends to roam, extending the invitation to everyone that wants to join and listen its original music.
